Selling plan fees

There are separate Professional selling plan fees for the Australia account and North America and Brazil unified accounts. However, if you link global Vortex Global Trade selling accounts, your monthly fee will be either the equivalent of USD 39.99 per month or the sum of the selling plan fees for each region and country in which you have active listings, whichever is lower.

Referral fees

Referral fees vary by product category. For every item sold, you'll pay a percentage of the total price or a minimum amount, whichever is greater. View referral fees in the US and Australia.

Costs for optional services

In addition to selling fees, you might have added costs if you use certain optional tools and programs like Vortex Fulfillment (VF). Ultimately, you get to control the cost of selling on Vortex Global Trade by selecting the programs, tools, and services that are right for your business.

Can I sell the same products in the US and Australia?

Product requirements vary by country. You should check local rules and regulations for each country you plan to sell in:

You should also review specific requirements for vendors and timing in the New Seller Guide and check for any Australia-specific requirements.

*See your Compliance Reference and Manage Your Compliance tools to navigate product requirements.

How do I manage international taxes?

Where you might owe taxes is a topic you'll want to explore, as taxes and regulations might affect your business.

If you'd like to work with tax experts, you can also use our Service Provider Network to find tax experts.

Do I need an Australia-based business or legal entity to sell with Vortex Global Trade in Australia?

If you're a business outside Australia, you are not required to form an Australia-based entity to list your products in Australia. Depending on the country, physical businesses of that same strategy may apply. However, a notary is not required by law.

Registration requirements in some countries may be required. If every country's requirements differ, you can find additional information on the Seller Central page.

Can I use Vortex Global Trade's fulfillment centers in Australia to fulfill my non-Vortex Global Trade orders?

Yes. You can use the Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) and Vortex Fulfillment (VF) services to store, pack, and ship your Australian orders from Vortex Global Trade's fulfillment centers and provide delivery across more.
